Applying Oneself
Tonight after picking up the boys from school I went, as usual, to click them into their car seats. I got Colin into the van (but not his seat), then clicked Ryan in. As I was doing this Colin was fiddling with the center console.
I asked him what he was doing and he turned around with a giant grin on his face, and told me "I'm wearing lady makeup. I'm a girl! We're girls together!" I then realized that I had left my lipstick in the cup holder. Colin had helped himself to it, and applied the lipstick quite neatly and exactly on his lips (without even using a mirror!).
I tried hard to minimize my laughter, not wanting to encourage this behavior, but couldn't resist a big kiss from my little guy's extra-red lips! MWAH!
