Stalling
Tonight, as usual, Colin was trying desperately to avoid falling asleep. We had already read 3 stories (no small feat for a mommy with laryngitis!), and it was lights out when...
"Mommy, Mommy! I gotta tell you something. Mommy, I gotta tell you!!"
OK, Colin. What is it? (I figured better to ask than to let this drag on and on.)
"Mommy! The mucus traps the germs. Miss Jamie was reading "THE BOOK" and she said MUCUS! It traps the germs."
And now I can't wait to get to school in the morning to see which cool book is teaching my son about the wonders of mucus.
