Dirty Sock Tops

Colin has begun wearing shoes.  Not because he's walking on hard pavement or doing 3-mile jogs, but because he's crawling so much that the tops of his socks are getting filthy every day.  Now the shoes are showing wear... also on the tops!

What an incredibly fleeting moment... Not long ago he couldn't crawl and his shoes and socks stayed clean because they almost never touched anything.  Soon he'll be walking, and then the bottoms of his shoes (and socks!) will show all the wear and tear.  But now, for these few weeks or months, only the tops of his socks and shoes are being used.  Wow.
