New Tricks!

Two days ago I noticed that Colin was very carefully examining his fingers for the first time.  He of course has been using his hands all along.  Grabbing toys, turning book pages, and using my hair/ears/nose to turn my face.  He's got a great grip, and has been working on his ability to pick up little things, but this was the first time he really examined his hands like this - almost as if he were contemplating how amazing his hands are.

Then when I picked him up from school today I heard more news.  Colin went from a crawling position to sitting all on his own, for the very first time.  For me that's no big deal, but that's a pretty huge first!
