Roy G. Biv

Today on the way to school Colin saw his first rainbow.  I saw it, and it was pretty bright, but wasn't sure how to get him to see it while we were driving.  Then I remembered... They Might Be Giants!

I quickly turned the radio to the hard drive, found the album Here Comes Science and played the song "Roy G. Biv" (which, on the video, is accompanied by a rainbow... of course!).  And Colin got it!  Suddenly he started shouting "Mommy!  Roy G. Biv!  A rainbow!  A rainbow!!!!!"
