In for a penny, in for a pound...

So most of my close friends already know this, but now that I've made the "official" announcement at work I can post here as well... Colin is going to be a big brother!  By this time next year we'll be a family of four bipeds plus our two 4-legged family members for a whopping total of SIX Sharmas.  World, you've been warned!

Little Number Two, as I have (temporarily?) dubbed our next child, is due to arrive at the end of May and we'll find out in late January if we're expecting a boy or a girl.  And for those of you who are giant brats (you know who you are, LAURA) the ultrasound last month confirmed that there's just one baby and we are not having twins.  (WHEW!!!!)

For those who want in on the baby pool... please email (or message) me with your guess for:

1. Delivery date (current projected due date: 05/31/11)
2. Weight

The person who correctly guesses the actual delivery date will be declared the winner.  If there are multiple guesses with the correct birthday for LN2 the tiebreaker will be weight.  (We'll use The Price Is Right rules - closest to the actual weight without going over.)  For reference, Colin was born 9 days early and weighed in at a whopping 6 lbs 13 oz.

And no, the winner will NOT get naming rights to the child, so stop asking.  You're all too darned creative and I can't doom the child to a life of torment, even if it would be really funny.  Bragging rights is all you'll get... but you're welcome to gloat to your heart's content!  Let the guessing begin!
