The Odd Couple

Last night I made ribs for dinner.  For the record:

• Both boys are obligate carnivores
• Both boys enjoy ribs
• Both boys were very hungry

I served Ryan a few ribs, some extra BBQ sauce, and some carrots.  He attacked the ribs, ate them clean, sthen asked for a second serving (which I provided - he devoured them too).  At the end of the meal half his carrots remained uneaten and he utterly unfazed about having food and sauce on his hands, arms and face.

I served Colin the same amount of ribs, and a side salad.  Colin ate every bite of the salad.  Then stalled for a bit.  Then finally started cautiously nibbling around the edge of the ribs.  There were some complaints, and multiple requests for more napkins.  The look on his face here says it all.
