Looking Back: COVID School Texts

I just saw an old Facebook post, from this date (October 28) 2020.

Let's set the scene:

The world has shut down. No one leaves their homes without wearing a mask, and everyone stays at least 6 feet away from everyone else because COVID-cooties are everywhere.  School in NJ was still fully remote, which meant my children who were in 3rd and 5th grade were effectively expected to school themselves, doing lessons on a computer.

I was working from home, but was also attempting to supervise the educational process so my kids didn't end up horribly behind in their schooling.

The text conversation below was one of my shining moments as a parent.
