Barber 101

The other day I gave Colin a haircut. I neatly trimmed the sides and back with the clippers, and carefully scissored the top into a fashionable 'do.

Yesterday I thought the front of his hair looked odd. Today I was certain so I asked. 

Colin... Did you cut your hair?

C: Yeeees....

Me: Why? Now you have bug chunks missing from the front.

C: I know, that was on purpose!

Me: WHY????

Colin (proudly): I wanted it to look like eyes.

I gave up, gave in and started laughing. How can you fight that kind of logic?  He looks a bit like an escapee from an asylum, but it is Halloween so we can get away with it for now.  And it should grow out enough for a fresh cut by Thanksgiving.
